1. Identity and address of the data controller

Verum by Alarife S.A. de C.V. (hereinafter “ecoAlarife”, “the Company” or “the Data Controller”), with address at Viveros de Tlalnepantla 46, Colonia Viveros de la Loma, C.P. 54080, Tlalnepantla de Baz, State of Mexico, Mexico, is responsible for processing the personal data you provide to us, which will be protected in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), its Regulations, the Privacy Notice Guidelines, and other applicable regulations.

2. Personal data we collect

For the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, we may collect your personal data in various ways: when you provide it to us directly, when you visit our website, when you fill out forms on social media (including Meta/Facebook/Instagram instant forms), when you contact us via WhatsApp, email or phone, or when we obtain information through other legally permitted sources.

The personal data we may collect includes:

• Identification data: full name.
• Contact data: email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, address or general location of the project.
• Project data: land characteristics, geographic location of the property, approximate size, project goals, estimated budget, and specific needs related to self-sustaining farm services.
• Commercial data: history of quotes, contracts, invoicing and payments (where applicable).

3. Purposes of data processing

Primary purposes (necessary)

Your personal data will be used for the following purposes necessary for our relationship with you:

• To address and respond to your requests for information, quotes or service contracting.
• To contact you with personalized commercial proposals related to the design, implementation and operation of self-sustaining farms.
• To deliver the contracted services, including consulting, design, installation, training and follow-up.
• To issue tax receipts and comply with accounting, tax and administrative obligations.
• To provide after-sales follow-up and handle complaints, questions or clarifications.
• To comply with the legal and contractual obligations arising from our relationship with you.

Secondary purposes (optional)

Additionally, unless you object, your data may be used to:

• Send you commercial communications, newsletters, educational content, invitations to events, workshops and promotions from ecoAlarife.
• Conduct satisfaction surveys and market research.
• Personalize and improve our services, as well as our communication with you.
• Create lookalike audiences for advertising campaigns on platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google.

If you do not wish your data to be processed for these secondary purposes, you may state your objection by emailing contacto@ecoalarife.com with the subject “Objection to secondary purposes”. This refusal will not be grounds for denying you the services you request.

4. Transfers of personal data

ecoAlarife may transfer your personal data, without requiring your consent, in the cases provided for in Article 37 of the LFPDPPP, as well as to:

• Technology service providers (web hosting, CRM, email, WhatsApp Business messaging, advertising campaign platforms) located in Mexico or abroad, solely to operate the systems we use to communicate with you.
• Accounting, tax and legal advisors when necessary to comply with legal obligations.
• Competent authorities when there is a duly grounded and justified legal requirement.

In all cases, the transfer will be carried out under contractual clauses that require the recipient to process your data in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable Mexican law.

If you do not wish your data to be transferred for purposes other than those mentioned, you may state so at any time through the means indicated in the ARCO rights section.

5. How to exercise your ARCO rights

You or your accredited legal representative have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and learn the details of its processing.
• Rectify your data when it is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Cancel (delete) your data when you believe it is not being used in accordance with the law.
• Object to the use of your data for specific purposes.

To exercise these rights, you must send a request to contacto@ecoalarife.com with the following information:

• Full name and address or means to receive our response.
• A document proving your identity (a copy of valid official ID) or, where applicable, the legal representation of the data owner.
• A clear and precise description of the personal data for which you seek to exercise any of the rights.
• Any other element that helps locate the data.

ecoAlarife will respond to your request within a maximum of 20 business days from its receipt. If the request is granted, it will take effect within the 15 business days following the date the response is communicated. These periods may be extended once for an equal period when the circumstances of the case justify it.

6. Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw the consent you have given us, if any, for the processing of your personal data. To do so, you must submit your request by email to contacto@ecoalarife.com following the same procedure described for ARCO rights.

Please note that withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer continue providing the service you requested, or that your relationship with us ends.

7. Limiting the use or disclosure of your data

You may limit the use or disclosure of your personal data by requesting to be added to our internal exclusion list via email to contacto@ecoalarife.com. Additionally, you may register with the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising (REPEP) of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) at repep.profeco.gob.mx to avoid receiving advertising from companies in general.

8. Use of cookies and similar technologies

Our website ecoalarife.com uses cookies, web beacons and other technologies through which it is possible to monitor your behavior as a user, provide you with a better service and browsing experience, and offer you personalized content and advertising. Cookies may collect information such as browser type, operating system, pages visited, IP address, links followed and session duration.

Specifically, we use:

• Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies to measure traffic and performance.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure conversions and show relevant ads.
• Functional cookies to remember your browsing preferences.

You may disable the use of cookies at any time from your browser settings.

9. Changes to this Privacy Notice

ecoAlarife reserves the right to modify this Privacy Notice at any time, in response to legislative changes, internal policies, new requirements for the provision of our services, or changes in our privacy practices.

Any modification to this Privacy Notice will be communicated through our website ecoalarife.com/en/privacy in the Privacy Notice section, where you can always consult the most recent version. We recommend reviewing it periodically.

10. Acceptance of this Privacy Notice

By providing your personal data through any of the means indicated (website, contact forms, social media instant forms, WhatsApp, email, phone call or in person), you declare that you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of this Privacy Notice, granting your express consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the purposes described herein.
